NewsMountain Lake looking to the township to solve seagull problem SHARE ON: Smith Autumn, contributor, Friday, Aug. 28th, 2015People on Mountain Lake are having a big problem with seagulls, and they’re asking the Township to fix it.President of the Mountain Lake Property Owner’s Association, Howard Clarke says people can’t even swim in the south side of the lake anymore. He says it has to do with poor operation at the Scotchline Landfill.Minden Hills staff says they can try to cover up the garbage more often, but bears usually dig it up again.
