Minden council denies support for solar farm application

A solar farm in Minden Hills is still too big and council is not supporting it. The decision was a unanimous vote in yesterday’s meeting.

Algonquin Power reduced the project size from about 300 acres to 87, but councillors say it’s still too big.

However, Project Manager Evan Koebel says they are still submitting the application to the province’s LRP program.
