Money from vehicle and drivers license increases for roads and bridges

Another fee increase starting today will hit us in the pocket book, but could come back to benefit Haliburton County.

The province has increased the cost of vehicle and driver’s licenses. According to a release, the money is going into maintaining roads and bridges across the province.

Vehicle license validation has increased by $10, while a new drivers license will only be $1.50 more.
