Anyone over 19 who needs an upgrade on their literacy skills could be eligible for the Outreach Literacy program. It’s free through the John Howard Society in Minden. An information session is happening next Tuesday to find out more about it. You can drop in any time between 10:00am and 3:00pm. The goal is to give people the reading, writing and/or math skills they need for school or the workplace.
