People across Dysart are putting their efforts into rebuilding the skate park in Haliburton. A fundraiser event is coming up on September 12. So far, they’ve raised over $12,000 and the end goal is to expand and improve the park. They think that could cost anywhere between $70,000 and $100,000. The event is at the skate part from noon until 6:00pm and will include games, a Barbecue, a beer tent and skateboard demonstrations.
