The Haliburton Highlands Chamber of Commerce is joining the effort to change the proposed WSIB new rate framework. Along with the provincial Chamber, they’ve put in ten recommendations to help with the impact on business. According to the Chamber, there are some positive changes to the current rate setting process. However, they say the new framework could increase the premium rates paid by employers.
