News Charges in morning collision SHARE ON: Amanda Lorbetski, staff Friday, Sep. 11th, 2015 A number of people are facing charges after a collision on Highway 7. The City of Kawartha Lakes OPP says several people left the scene of the two-vehicle crash west of Manilla early yesterday morning. Police say officers, the Emergency Response Team and a Canine officer were able to find and arrest two of the people. An 18-year-old from Mount Albert and a youth are facing charges including having under $5,000 in stolen property. An officer later found a 19-year-old Mount Albert man who was charged with failing to comply with his sentence. A homeowner discovered a fourth person and called police. The youth was arrested and charged with offences including trespassing at night. All four people were held for bail hearings.
