Two people were charged after a single vehicle stop. On December 29, an officer from the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP stopped a vehicle in Omemee with an expired license plate sticker. Turns out the 40 year old driver was driving with a suspended license and out of date plates. Further investigation revealed the validation permit belonged to a different plate and the 43 year old owner of the vehicle was also charged.
