Preparations are underway for the Canadian National Pond Hockey Championships. It’s the second year for Haliburton hosting them. Volunteers have started working on the rinks on Head Lake in the village of Haliburton. 1600 players and 260 teams will play on 32 outdoor rinks over two weekends. It all starts January 24.
