A drinking and driving charge is coming down for a Haliburton resident. Local police stopped the 65 year old at Highway 35 and County Road 21. When the officer realized he had been drinking, they gave him a roadside test, which he failed. They arrested him on the spot and took him back to the detachment for more tests. He’ll be in court in November to answer to the charge.
