Police have identified the man responsible for killing three women in the Barry’s Bay area as Basil Borutski.
The 57-year-old is from Palmer Rapids and police say he knew the victims. He’s being charged with three counts of first degree murder.
The investigation started yesterday morning when police found the body of 36-year-old Anastasia Kuzyk in Wilno. While police were looking for the suspect, they found the body of 48-year-old Natalie Warmardam and 66 year old Carol Culleton in different locations.
OPP report Borutski was found in a wooded area near Kinburn. He’ll be in a Pembroke court today, and autopsies of the three women are also set to happen today to find a cause of death.
