Money for infrastructure, training and tourism will bring jobs to Haliburton County. That’s according to NDP candidate for MP, Mike Perry.
Perry says he also plans to get federal dollars to open up localized training centres.
Another part of his plan is to increase tourism in the area. Perry says the NDP just announced $30 million to promote tourism and attract more visitors to the area.
Perry is running against Green Party candidate Bill MacCallum, Conservative Jamie Schmale, and Liberal David Marquis. Election day is October 19th.
