Hitting a Moose turned out a little worse for an area driver. Police got a call about a car hitting a moose on Highway 118 just west of Kushog Lake Road.
It happened early in the morning on Sunday.
During the investigation, police smelled alcohol on the driver’s breath and gave her a roadside test. When she failed, she was arrested and taken back to the detachment.
The 35-year-old driver is being charged with drinking and driving and will be in Minden court in November.
