If you see our local paramedics out on a call this month, they’ll be wearing pink gloves. EMS Director Craig Jones says they’ll be wearing them for Breast Cancer Awareness month. Jones says everyone has been touched with cancer in their lifetime, and it’s something our paramedics see on a daily basis. He says this is their way to show their respect.
Haliburton County paramedics are being asked to donate, and Jones says they’re encouraging everyone to donate by going to the Canadian Cancer Society website.
