A fatal snowmobile crash north of Barrie is still under investigation. It happened after 6:00 last night along Simcoe County Road 27 near Horseshoe Valley Road, south of Elmvale. The snowmobile and a vehicle collided and the road was closed for several hours as police investigated. The male driver of the snowmobile was killed. No further details have been released.
