A standoff in Peterborough ended peacefully. A section of the south end of Peterborough had to be cornered off for hours before a woman surrendered to police. A lockdown of the neighbourhood kept residents locked in their homes until early afternoon. A woman was taken into custody and released last night. No other details have been made public.
