OPP say we managed to stay ahead of the worst of it as blowing snow and cold temperatures closed roads and highways all around our county. Lake effect flurries and snow squalls will continue to generate near zero visibility in communities to the east of us. Although snow squall warnings have been called off for our region, blowing snow is still an issue and drivers are reminded to proceed with caution.
