More charges have been laid against the man caught stealing from vehicles in the county. After an extensive police investigation dating back to last spring, two people were arrested last week in connection with numerous thefts. 10 more charges have been added relating to property obtained by crime under $5,000. The OPP is asking for the public’s assistance is identifying a large quantity of recovered property. If you have had items stolen from your vehicle and haven’t reported it to the police, call Detective Constable Backus at 705 286-1431. The accused is currently in custody in Lindsay.
