Unofficial election results has Jamie Schmale elected as the MP in Haliburton Kawartha Lakes Brock. As soon as the announcement was made, Moose FM got his reaction to being elected.
Schmale says he has mixed emotions now that Canada is under a Liberal government. He says the Liberals are promising to run a deficit for the next three years, so the Conservatives have a job to do.
His one message to voters is a thank you to people who put an ‘X’ beside his name, but he also says he’ll still be working hard for those that didn’t.
Schmale is taking over the Conservative seat in this riding after former MP Barry Devolin stepped down. Schmale was the Executive Assistant to Devolin for ten years.
