NewsNatural gas agreement a no-go in Dysart SHARE ON: Smith Autumn, contributor, Tuesday, Oct. 27th, 2015The Municipality of Dysart will not be signing an agreement for natural gas any time soon. Northeast Midstream came to council with the 20-year agreement back in May. Since then, they’ve been working on a few changes, like the termination clause so it goes both ways. However, CAO Tamara Wilbee says the company wasn’t interested in making the changes. Murray Fearrey says Enbridge has Dysart on their radar as a potential natural gas community, so they should wait for that to happen. Councillors agreed not to sign the agreement.
