Highlands East Environment and Green Energy committee members are going on a road trip. On Friday they head to Bracebridge to take a tour of the BFI Recycling Plant. From there they hope to head to Baysville to look at compacter bins. The committee is always looking for ways to divert waste from the landfills as well as save money. The trip will be paid for from the township’s training budget.
