Two Haliburton locals were charged with assault. Last night, Haliburton OPP was called after a male was jumped on Highland Street by two others. The two were located and a 17 year old has been charged with assault and a 21 year old has been charged with assault, theft under $5,000, uttering threats and failure to comply with a probation order. They’ll both appear in Lindsay court today.
