The worst seems to be over in Haliburton County. Environment Canada has ended the wind warning in the area. However, crews are still working on the clean-up. High winds caused a few trees to go down, and the power to go out in spots. Hydro One is reporting over 5,000 customers are without power in our area. They’re expecting things to be restored this afternoon.
