Highlands East the first to support Blue Dot Movement

Highlands East councillors want to see the right to a healthy environment added to the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

In today’s council meeting, they passed a resolution showing their support for the Blue Dot Movement. The campaign is coming from the David Suzuki Foundation through Environment Haliburton. The group has been collecting signatures across the county for months.

Highlands East council is the first in the County to support the movement.
