A petition to stop the sale of Hydro One has been submitted to the province. Local MPP Laurie Scott put her name on the petition that was put forward this week. In the legislature, Scott read the petition listing problems like a lack of public input.
The petition also states that the Liberal government has removed independent oversight of Hydro One like an Auditor General and the Ombudsman.
