Santa Claus made it on to the agenda in Minden. This year’s Santa Claus parade was originally planned to start at McKnight Street and end at the area.
However, councillors didn’t agree because they’ve gone through a lot of trouble to have it go the opposite direction so it ends downtown. A long discussion in a council meeting ended with the decision to change the direction back to what it was last year, and have Santa end in the council chambers.
The parade is this Saturday at 11:30am.
