There’s a public art policy for the Municipality of Dysart. Members of the cultural resources committee put it together so council can start developing a public art collection. The policy is for them to have guidelines to make decisions on what to include. It states local involvement as a key feature, but council will get the final say in any decisions. It was also designed to be tied in to economic development.
