A new pedestrian crosswalk in Haliburton is being considered. Councillors have agreed it would go on Highland Street in front of the Echo building. The idea is to prevent people from crossing at the entrance to the town docks.
This decision is also bringing up the issue of budgeting money to replace the stairs beside Country Pickin’s.
Dysart council will be including both items in their budget discussions for 2016.
