Minden Hills purchases new roads excavator

The Municipality of Minden Hills is getting a new roads excavator. At a meeting on April 24, council approved the purchase of a new Cat 315GC excavator for $326,000, and a 30-ton trailer for $49,000. 28,236 people voted in area advance polls

Advance voter numbers are in for Kawartha-Haliburton. Elections Canada reports 28,236 people cast ballots over the four-day Easter long weekend.
