Fundraiser planned for Angelman’s Syndrome cure

Two local families have children affected by Angelman Syndrome. AS is a neurogenetic disorder that causes seizure, movement and sleep disorders, and a lack of speech. A cure has been found, but money is needed for the cure to become available for human use.  A fundraiser is planned for February 15 in Minden at the arena. You can also donate at the check-out in Dollo’s Foodland until February 15^th or join Meghan Reid’s Fitness classes on the 15^th in downtown Minden where all proceeds will be donated to support the cause.
