OPP Asks Drivers to Share the Road

The Haliburton Highlands OPP wants motorcyclists and other drivers to do a better job of sharing the road safely.

According to police, over the last ten years, there have been 270 motorcycle deaths and 170 off-road vehicle deaths.

OPP say they are concerned about the number of off-road drivers who may believe they can survive a collision.

They want to reduce the numbers of preventable collisions by working together.

They are asking drivers to do their part by driving safely.
