The Kawartha Sexual Assault Centre is recognizing women between 15 and 24 years of age because they are at a high risk of sexual violence.
In order to do this, the organization has launched its weekend webchat.
This is a way to help support survivors, and build a conversation to end sexual violence.
The organization says the first eight weeks of school are a high-risk time for sexual assaults.
The webchat is on Fridays to Sundays from 7:00pm to 11:00pm.
