Make sure this week’s freezing rain didn’t mess with your license plate to avoid a fine. The Haliburton Highlands OPP says the snow, ice, and salt can all dirty the plates, which could end in a $110 ticket. The OPP also notes clear or tinted plate covers are illegal, and can also lead to a fine.
