Although Minden Hills is getting closer to opening a section of Water Street, they’re not there yet.
Water Street has been closed between St. Germain and the Canadian Tire entrance since early May.
In a call to Moose News, an official with the township said the next step will be to hire a contractor to repair the water main.
The official said once the work starts, it should take approximately one week to complete.
There is no word on when the work would begin.
Until that time, that section of water street is only open to local traffic.
