The Haliburton Highlands O.P.P. will be keeping a close eye on the roads Labour Day weekend.
Community Safety Officer Dianna Dauphinee says police will be keeping an especially close eye for distracted driving.
Dauphinee says distracted driving is not only using your cell phone.
Dauphinee says province-wide, there have been more collisions due to distracted driving than speeding and impaired driving combined.
She adds there have been no deaths in the county from distracted driving.
