The Haliburton Highlands O.P.P. is looking for the public’s help to find a wanted man.
The O.P.P. was doing a check stop on South Lake Road in Minden Hills Tuesday afternoon around 4:30 and saw the man and attempted to arrest him for an outstanding criminal matter.
27-year old Creighton Griffin then allegedly assaulted one of the offers and fled the scene on foot.
A search by the O.P.P. and its canine unit turned up nothing.
The Haliburton Highlands detachment says if you see Griffin, do not approach him and call 911 immediately.
He stands approximately 5’7 and weighs around 150 pounds.
