All trails maintained by Haliburton County Snowmobile Club listed as unavailable

This is not a good week for snowmobiling in the county.

That’s according to O.P.P. Central Region Media Relations Coordinator Peter Leon.

Leon says all the pools of water forming on sledding trails could make ice seem safer than it is.

Leon adds the extra water will also affect the trails bases.

The O.P.P. wants to remind sledders that no ice is safe ice, and to always check the ice before going on it.
