Dysart et al may have another Battle of the Bands outdoors.
Recreation and Programs Coordinator Andrea Mueller told council this morning the battle less than two weeks ago raised over $2,500 towards a skateboard park by the A.J. Larue Arena.
She said at the show that many people expressed interest in a summer competition.
Mueller says the idea of a summer musical competition has been floated around before.
Mueller says having a coordinator would go a long way to having a summer Battle of the Bands.
Mueller adds that future band competitions could be fundraisers for future municipal recreation initiatives.
The Rotary Carnival takes place in August.
