Haliburton County Warden Suzanne Partridge says she is disappointed in a decision made by the province.
Partridge was referring to the government’s decision to deny an application for $1.7 million under the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund.
The money would have been used to assess and repair the Hawk Lake Bridge, which is approximately 100-years-old.
Partridge says one option is to draw from reserves but adds that waiting another year to apply again for funding is not an option.
