Minden Hills and the Bob Lake Association remain at odds over a potential public boat launch.
The Association asked the township for alternatives last year after it was discovered the launch used for many years by lake residents was on private property.
The association got a quote of $30,000, while according to Minden, the cost would be $182,680.
The township included $85,000 for planning and legal issues, which was absent from the Bob Lake report.
The township’s report also included a contingency of just under $45,000 in case additional costs arise.
The association is asking for the launch because they say not having one results in lower property values.
