Algonquin Highlands is getting a gold star from its consultant on waste management.
The township is submitting its annual report on the Maple Lake and Oxtongue Lake disposal sites as well as the McClintock Septage Lagoon site to the province
According to the consultant’s report, the sites are in compliance with minor changes needed.
Mayor Carol Moffatt says the township prides itself on its waste management practices
The report will be submitted to the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change.
