Haliburton may be setting a new record for one of its coldest November 21st’s in history.
Environment Canada recorded the temperature dropping to a chilly -19.3 before wind chill last night. The original record of -18.7 was set in 2008.
The county might be headed for another record-breaker tonight as the temperature is expected to dip to -20, getting very close to the -20.5 record set in 2008 as well.
Environment Canada predicts the abnormally chilly weather sent from the North will likely move out of the county by Friday.
