Haliburton County is looking to hire part-time paramedics for the Haliburton County Emergency Services.
Haliburton Highlands announced on Twitter that the county’s emergency services are looking hire a primary care paramedics. According to the county, they are only taking applications for the position until January 21st.
If you are going to apply for the position, the county says you will need to be AMECA certified and have a completed physical ability evaluation. As the part-time paramedic the county details that you will need post-secondary education in Ambulance and Emergency Care and has been successful in the Provincial Advanced Emergency Medical Care Attendant exam as specified in the Ambulance Act of Ontario.
Aside from the certification, applicants will need their valid F class licence and certification as a primary care paramedic. The pay for the job is $39.54 an hour.
