Traffic stop in Fenelon Falls leads to charges for driver and passenger

A driver and the passenger of a car are facing charges following a stop in Fenelon Falls.

City of Kawartha Lakes O.P.P. has charged two people after a traffic stop on Saturday. According to the police report, officers stopped a car on Concession Road in Fenelon Falls, and after an investigation, the O.P.P. charged the driver and the passenger with separate charges.

The driver, a 22-year-old from Bobcaygeon, was charged with driving without a license. The passenger, a 31-year-old from Haliburton, was charged with having an open liquor container in the car.

Ontario’s police force is reminding drivers that road safety is a shared responsibility.
