Environment Canada is warning of heavy snowfall making its way to the area today.
Haliburton, Minden, and parts of southern Haliburton County as well as Oxtongue Lake, Fort Irwin and parts of northern Haliburton County are under a snowfall warning.
Although the extreme cold warning has ended, Environment Canada is now warning folks that the county could see up to 15 centimetres of snow today into tomorrow afternoon. Environment Canada reminds drivers that snow can reduce visibility and cause roads to become slippery.
