A Haliburton resident is facing charges for allegedly smashing a window.
The Haliburton Highlands O.P.P. have charged a 26-year-old following a mischief call Sunday night. According to Constable Amanda Gilbert, police were called to the Dysart branch of the Haliburton County Public Library.
Gilbert says that they had received a call of someone breaking the window, and by the time they arrived the suspect had fled on foot. The suspect was found later and eventually charged with mischief under $5,000.
The accused is due in court April 3rd in Minden.
