The Highland Storm Haliburton Timber Mart and Hockey Haven Sports Camp Novice’s won the first 2 games of their Quarter-Final series against the Shelburne Wolves Taking Game one in Haliburton 7-1 with goals from Henry Neilson who had 5 ,while Evan Perrott and Isaac Trotter added singles. Game 2 was in Shelbourne and the Novices won that one 4-1. In other action Joanne Sharpley’s Source for Sports and Haliburton Family Medical Team Peewe’s beat the Durham Crusaders 5-0 in game six of that series. Austin Boylan and Addison St Cyr both scored twice while Colby Coumbs added a single. The Peewee’s move on to play Shelbourne in the next round. The Storm Midgets are up 2 games to 1 in their series against the Stayner Cyclones with game 4 coming up Feb 16 in Stayner.
