The Sunshine List has double-digit representation in Haliburton County.
The curtain has been pulled back on all of the people who made over $100,000 last year. On the list is 14 public sector staff members from across the county.
Eight of them work at the county level. The highest paid was Chief Administrative Officer Mike Rutter who made $165,157.41 with $1,386.28 in taxable benefits. The second highest paid at the county level was Elaine Taylor, the treasurer. She made $130,528.87.
The other six county employees salaries ranged from $124,936.12 to $107,205.49
In Dysart et al, there was only one employee who made the Sunshine List. CAO Tamara Wilbee made $121,656.00.
Highlands East’s CAO Shannon Hunter also made the list with a salary of $118,569.00.
Algonquin Highlands had two people make the cut. Tammy McKelvy, the newly retired treasurer, made $110,788.62 whereas CAO Angie Bird made $134,023.50.
The list also included three from Minden Hills. The highest paid of those was CAO Lorrie Blanchard who made $153,621.03. Mark Coleman the Director of Community Services made $109,376.36. The final member of the sunshine list is Roads Superintendent Travis Wilson, who made $101,374.53.
