SIRCH has launched the Gifts from the Heart program for the fourth year, and they’re hoping to raise 30 thousand dollars. Wendy Iles is the spokesperson for the program and she explains the need in the community.

Iles says the idea is ethical giving, for someone to give a donation on behalf of someone else.

Iles also says it’s a good thing to keep in mind during the season of Christmas parties as a great secret Santa gift. The proceeds will go toward programs SIRCH offers like Community Kitchen, Need a Hand and the Bereavement Program.
