It’s a chance to meet your neighbours and maybe a relative.
The Haliburton Highlands Genealogy Group is holding a meeting this Wednesday at the Lions Hall at 166 Bobcaygeon Road in Minden.
The group came to be following some interested people gathering headstone inscriptions from the Haliburton region. The nucleus of this group was interested in local family history and genealogy group was born.
The doors open at 5:00pm for a pot-luck supper.
There is also a performance by Haliburton’s Rural Rogues.
